Loans Changing Lives and Fighting Poverty
I wrote about Mahammud Yunus, Kiva and Microlending earlier today at Abundance Highway and when I first went to Kiva to make a loan for Blog Action Day, there was no current projects available for funding.
I saw on Twitter that Aruni from Entrepremusings was going to make a loan and found like I had initally that there were no current projects to fund.
I had commented on Twitter that I would see what or whether there were any other microlending organizations on line.
I knew of Opportunity International and the work of David Bassau. There I found Optinnow You can support projects In Mexico, Kenya and Phillippines.

The next one I found was Global Giving

Global Giving operates in a similar way to Kiva,

with a novel twist, whereby through a wizard you can choose where and who to lend your money to.

This now gives me as well as others 2 more options to empower people to create change and alleviate poverty
